Dear Friends and Partners, A development trajectory which does not prioritize the protection and provision of dignified lives for girls in the present and in the future is futile. Increasingly at national, regional and global level girls are occupying integral political, social and economic spaces as key agents of change. This has been stemmed from the realization that girls are an important factor in alignment of development processes. Their involvement not only marks progress in the way women will be treated in the future, it also builds and sustains the future of progressive women’s movements and involvement of women in key development processes as empowered , capable and wholesome leaders of our time.

Thank You, Judith Dembetembe-Chiyangwa, Director
